PODCAST 28: 2012 & Django Unchained

Forest and Cory reunite after a week of celebrating the winter holiday season. Forest points out how unbelievable, and now irrelevant, the film 2012 really is. Then Cory and Forest break down the new Tarantino, spaghetti western, Django Unchained. Don't let the "N word" give you the wrong impression, this film IS smarter than you.

Listen closely for girls kissing and Forest voices his dislike for children who share the same movie theater as he. Now with 50% less rape.

Another great episodes guys, and the fact it was rape-free was a nice touch. Franco Nero, the original Django, was actually the guy that went up to Jamie Foxx's Django in the movie and asked him how his name was spelled. It was a nice touch by Tarantino.

Since you guys are so podcast inclined you might want to check out Fresh Air on NPR because they just interviewed Tarantino about Django on today's show http://www.npr.org/2013/01/02/168200139/quentin-tarantino-unchained-and-unruly

and about two weeks ago they interviewed Christoph Waltz as well http://www.npr.org/2012/12/18/167062665/unchained-admiration-between-actor-and-director

Both were great interviews.

Happy New Year to the both of you.
