PODCAST 35: Blacula & Scream Blacula Scream [Blaxploitation Edition]

This week, the white devils of Slaughter Film indulge themselves with some wholesome blaxploitation in celebration of Black History Month. Cory sets the stage with Blacula, the soul brother of Dracula, starring William Marshall. Forest continues what was started with it's sequel Scream Blacula Scream. Blaxploitation shall never bee the same.

Also, the guys recount the watching of John Water's Pink Flamingos for the first time and this stuff was said:
Cory: "Hey Forest, you wanna go try on shirts together and get real mad?"
Forest: "Sure! Wanna go see a movie and win ribs?"

All this and the guys ponder what a "whitesploitation" movie would be like.

I always like to think of Wes Craven's "Vampire in Brooklyn" as the spiritual 2nd sequel to "Blacula" and despite what people say about it, I actually think its pretty entertaining. Now that March and St Patrick's Day is getting close, maybe it's time for some hot "Leprechaun" action/reviews. What say you?

Oh my God, High School of the Dead. That has got to be one of the most over-the-top hilarious shows I have ever seen (whether it's intentionally hilarious or not, I'm still trying to figure out). All those shameless panty and boob shots, you just have to laugh at them the more you see them. This clip is the best example of why I love this show so much, and why I think it's frikkin hilarious:

Skip ahead to the 1:50 mark. Prepare to laugh and roll on the floor. You will want to see the rest of the series after this.
