PODCAST 57: Pacific Rim [Giant Robot Edition]

The Slaughter Film crew lose their minds as they gleefully review Pacific Rim, directed by Guillermo Del Toro. The gang pop hard boners as they share their thoughts on a film that will easily be one of the best of 2013.

They also vent about Roar on the Shore, an annual biker rally held in Slaughter Film's home town and how damn annoying it is.

Haven't picked up The Walking Dead comics yet because I never pick up comic series that hasn't concluded yet.

What the fuck is wrong with people? They would rather watch Grown Ups 2 than Pacific Rim? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtOPacnjxLU

Ehh, I didn't think Ong Bak 3 was that great. The rest were awesome though, and I can't wait for The Protector 2 (aka Tom Yum Goong 2).

Hey, there's that upcoming Tom Cruise movie "All You Need is Kill."

Answer to trivia question: 1910. Wasn't as good as 1931, but yeah.

I think it's going to be funny come the end of the year that two of my favorite films of the year will be directed by two Mexicans, del Toro directing "Pacific Rim", and what I'm thinking is going to be the best film of the year, "Gravity," from Alfonso Cuaron.

Not sure if you guys checked out "VHS2" yet, but its worth checking out as well.

Great job as always
