This week Forest & Cory dive into the world of Japanese horror film. Or to be more specific, the films of Takishi Miike. Forest with Izo and Cory with Imprint.

Also, Forest & John get involved in a rather heated discussion over the recently released Spring Breakers. Cory even has to step in and threaten to shoot Forest in the back. It's weird, wild stuff, check it out!

Don't forget that the next Netflix Movie Night is Friday, September 6th at midnight [eastern]. Watch the movie while Cory & Forest "Riff" the movie LIVE!

I'm glad to see that you finally gave Miike his due and you did it with two rather obscure films of his. You could have taken the easy way out and done "Ichi the Killer" "Gozu" or "Dead or Alive."

As for "Spring Breakers," both John and Forest have valid points regarding the film merits, and for one, I enjoyed "Breakers" just because it lampooned the ridiculously stupid meaning Spring Break has to so many people, case in point, the tit montage to kick off the film. However, I wouldn't compare "Drive" to "Breakers" except for maybe the look of the film, but not the tone.

As far as the trivia question goes, Pet Sematary is your answer.

Cornholing. Remind me of George Carlin:

Never knew it was an actual sport. Kinda makes me think of it as a football term in that regard, like, "Number 37 cornholed number 6 on the 12 yard line."

I would sooner compare Pain & Gain to Spring Breakers, like several other people I know of do. It's a summer movie about overindulgence.
