PODCAST 103: Aliens & Galaxy of Terror [Illegal Alien Edition]


This week Forest reviews Aliens, the second installment in the Alien franchise. Cory accompanies Forest through his space voyage by reviewing Galaxy of Terror, a film made to cash in on the success of Alien.

For me, the best part of ALIENS was the series of action figures that came out in the early 90's. Each came with a comic book that tried to make the original storyline kid-friendly, along with advertising every weird type of alien the company wanted to sell.

James Cameron gets his fair share of imitators. THE ABYSS had DEEP STAR SIX and LEVIATHAN. ALIEN had it's own with INSEMINOID, FORBIDDEN WORLD and CREATURE (TITAN FIND), which starred a completely random Klaus Kinski.
