I really don't understand the Batman 89 backlash. I grew up on that version of Batman, along with the Animated Series, but I think people lose sight that if it wasn't for this film, comic book flicks would have never taken off. And for how goofy it is, it's still super super dark and I'll still take Nicholson's Joker over Ledger's (might be blasphemy) but there is still something about Nicholson's that creeps me out.

Can't wait to hear what you guys say about "Returns" which I also think gets a pretty bad rap, even though there are tons of issues.

I will always point to these Batman movies as one the best ones with the animated series. I now seem to get into arguments more often now with people about these movies because of the Nolan ones. I wonder if any you guys saw NostalgicCritic's take on Burton's and Nolan's? But yeah Michael Keaton will always be Batman to me with Kevin Conroy's voice.
