PODCAST 121: Tales From the Quadead Zone & Septic Man [Shit Edition]

Forest concludes his trek into the films of VHS rental past with a rather rare one, Tales From the Quadead Zone. Cory follows with yet another recent indie release, this time about a poop filled sewer, Septic Man.

The Duo also discuss visiting the 13 levels of fear of Ghost Lake, a regional haunted amusement park. Also they attended a screening of the semi-animated film The Congress at the Erie Art Museum. They watch daily Monster Madness videos, express their disinterest for the Van Helsing movie and they discuss how back yard movies were made "back in the day".

Troma's Youtube page has a documentary about Don Dohler (the director of FEEDERS) called BLOOD BOOBS & BEAST.

Speaking of independent cinema, does THE KILLER FOOT have any concept art, photos or other artifacts in a box somewhere?

You know, with all the shit jokes and poop monster ideas you guys discussed, not to mention the "Shit Edition" episode, I'm surprised you didn't mention the actual movie with a poop monster: Monsturd. I shit you not, this movie is real. Don't believe me? See this turd of a movie for yourself:

P.S. I don't recommend it, it's not good. But I bet you can't resist.

Yo guys, great show as always. Concerning your request for artistically challenged movies I must recommend this piece of tripe I once reviewed for a defunct magazine long ago in the '90's. Put this one at the top of your list to watch for VHS trash. It's titled Alien Beasts (1991) and I'm still receiving mental therapy after sitting through this one twice for my review of it back in 1996. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fcrfSwQEbM
