This week Forest & Cory sip mead and exchange Christmas gifts while reviewing another pair of holiday themed slasher films. Forest continues with Jack Frost 2: The Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman, and Cory with Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker.

The Horror Duo also chat about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, what may come from Star Trek: Beyond, and the online petition to save the historic home of the late great Forrest J. Ackerman.

No, you're right Forest, the Star Wars film (and JJ Abrams films in particular) does movie too fast and doesn't allow for many quiet character moments. And speaking of moving too fast, am I the only one bothered by how quickly Rey turns from scavenger to near-jedi-master over the course of a single movie (let alone over the course of a couple days)? People will say, "Oh, it's because of the force, she's strong with it." To that I say, "Bullshit, that's just lazy writing."

As much as I hated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the one made a couple years ago, the trailer for the 2nd one actually has me interested. Plus you guys should check out the 10 minute indy film the director made, Meltdown:

And of course there's the trailer for Independence Day 2.

Speaking of Pedo, have you guys seen or at least heard of Spotlight? It's a pretty good movie.
