PODCAST 203: Deathstalker 2 & Fiend Without a Face

This week Forest kicks off a month of barbarian film. The first on the chopping block is the Jim Wynorski directed film, Deathstalker 2. Cory challenges The Criterion Collection to impress him, yet again, with vintage horror -- they deliver with Fiend Without a Face.

Cory heads over to Action Toy Man for Free Comic Book Day and scored some power -- Nintendo Power! Forest packs up and moves...again! The Horror Duo also riff about Sharknado: The 4th Awakens and the upcoming Puppet Master reboot. All this and Cory "didn't know what words were".

Great reviews, guys. I'm admittedly not familiar with any entry in the Barbarian/Sword n' Sorcery genre, but it was a lot of fun listening to Forest's remarks about DEATHSTALKER 2. I have, however, seen FIEND WITHOUT A FACE, which was a fun little romp. Gotta love the proto-gore in the form of stop-motion brains exploding in a mess of raspberry jam.

I wonder what Forest will review next: The Barbarians? Conquest? Sorceress? Warrior and the Sorceress?

Despite never having had a Nintendo (my older brother, who made the video game decisions, was a Sega Supporter), I did have the Nintendo Power issues for NINJA GAIDEN 2; FINAL FANTASY; and SUPER MARIO BROS 3...all of which I read again and again and again.
