PODCAST 219: Breeders & Harvest Lake [Sexy Monster Sex Edition]

This week the Horror Duo take on a pair of sex themed creature features. Forest shares his thoughts on Breeders, a film that is little more than a R-word peppered peep-show, and Cory reviews the thought provoking indie flick Harvest Lake, starring Ellie Church.

Forest & Cory also chat about the past weeks WWE Summer Slam - featuring the bewildering Lesnar Vs Orton match, the documentary Kings of Cult starring Roger Corman and Charles Band, the new Pennywise, and The Lost Boys show to premiere on CW. All this and a soon to come Swedish Porno Party.

That was a fun episode. It sounds like these movies are more entertaining to talk about after watching them rather than actually watching them.

Anyway, yeah, I'm running my own blog site now, and I'm eventually going to find a way to give a shout-out to you guys in one of my reviews.

Speaking of which, on letterboxd, looks like the Hoop-Tober Challenge is on, the challenge where users make a list of a certain number of movies that meet different conditions, all of them being horror-related, and watch and make reviews of each of them, if they can. The challenge lasts until the end of October. User Cinemonster started this off (as he does every year it seems) with the list name "Live From Zombietown, It’s Hoop-Tober 3.0". My list name is inspired by a little review you did a while back, and a comment you made about what one of your friends said about it, and a comment I said about it. The list is called "WolfCocktober: Redux, Remastered, HD, with grain." I'll give a shout-out to your podcast when I review WolfCop to explain why the fuck I chose that title so that people won't think I'm some weird asshole (though they'll still probably think I'm a weird asshole).
