PODCAST 335: Tarkan Vs the Vikings & The Club

This week the Horror Duo exhume the Thanksgiving turkey carcass for one final foray into Turkish turkeys as Forest reviews Tarkan Vs the Vikings. Cory covers The Club, another recommended film by a now nameless stranger.

Aside from holiday shopping and family dining, Forest discusses the recent death carried out by Sentinel Island natives. All this and they discuss an important point made by Joe Bob Briggs, during the recent "Dinners of Death" movie marathon, about the importance of film being enjoyed communally.

About the Sentinelese, Forest mentioned in the Godzilla 2000 episode (episode #91) back when that airplane mysteriously disappeared in 2014. I come from a church that is widely known for its missionary work, but the general rule is: don't send missionaries into countries that don't accept Christianity (like the majority of the Islamic World) and don't send missionaries into countries that are in the middle of civil wars. In other words, there's little to be gained doing church work in places or situations that are likely to get you arrested, tortured and/or killed. (NOTE: I don't want this to lead into a debate about the merits of religious work or lack thereof, I just think the missionary who got killed did so needlessly...and illegally, at that)
